Breastfeeding shells

The beautiful thing with Breastfeeding shells is that it´s a gift from mother nature. A beautiful substitute, instead of cream

Breastfeeding shells are 100% natural, so indeed very Organic and you could say it´s upcycling to you them for breastfeeding purposes since they have already served on good as a perfect lunch for somebody.

Why should you use breastfeeding shells, If you are a first-time mum, your breast are not used to a baby sucking on your breast all the time, so your nipples will in the beginning crack and hurt a little.

So in between breastfeeding add your Milkernursing shells in the bra as shown in the picture - they will cool your breast and when your breast leaks milk into the shell, the combination of milk and the inside of your nursing shell heals your small crack.

Let me tell you these shells makes wonders and help me through 3 breastfeeding periods :-)

To all new parents

We know a lot of stuff takes you by surprise when you start breastfeeding as a first-time mother. The explanation is simple. We’re only ever told the success stories about nursing but as a mother of three, I can ensure you that breastfeeding is hard work. It comes with a lot of pain that you’ll have to overcome before it finally starts working – and unfortunately, a lot of new mothers aren’t prepared for this situation. In the past, first-time mothers stayed at the hospital for a much longer time and one of the reasons was to get the breastfeeding going. Today the situation is much changed, and the task of getting the nursing going has become the responsibility of the parents with very little support and advice. Quite paradoxical when every single midwife, nurse, doctor, and health worker seems to agree on the importance of breastfeeding.

At Milker, we want to prepare you in the best way possible, so you feel ready to breastfeed your child. That’s also why we’re introducing an innovative, eco-friendly new product; the breastfeeding shells.

In those first precious days after giving birth, your child must be allowed to suckle your breast as long as she or he likes. You need that milk to come in and that happens when your baby suckles. Normally, the milk doesn’t come in till day three and you’ll know it’s coming when your breasts become larger, harder, and more tender. When this happens, you must breastfeed your child and empty your breast to avoid mastitis, which is a painful breast infection. You’ll probably experience this process as laborious and painful – but hang in! It’ll be much better already by the time you reach day four.

NB: There is no scientific evidence that nursing shells work, but I can state that thousands of mothers think they help :-)
