Guidance:
The Haakaa pump can be used in two ways: with or without the baby sucking on the opposite breast. You can control the vacuum strength by squeezing the pump. If you want to use it as a milk collector, place it under the breast and lightly squeeze the opposite breast to collect excess milk.

Usage:
• Sterilize the pump by pouring boiling water over it for 3-5 minutes.
• Fold back the funnel and squeeze the pump.
• Place the funnel over the nipple, ensuring it is centrally positioned.
• Flip the funnel up while holding the pump squeezed.
• Once expression is underway, let the pump do its work.
• When the pump is full, pour the milk into a container or bag.

Preparing the breast:
To optimize expression, warm the breast with a heating pad or towel, massage lightly, and warm the funnel head by dipping it in warm water before attachment.

Cleaning and hygiene:
Clean the pump after each use and sterilize it with boiling water. Avoid cleaners as they may damage the silicone. Do not use the washing machine, as food residue may stick to the silicone and discolor the pump. Haakaa is available in two sizes: 100 ml and 150 ml.
